What is the
importance of Julian Assange and Edward Snowden to United States (US) citizens?
They are
more irrefutable proof that the US is not a democracy governed by the rule of
law, and that her citizens do not enjoy liberty and justice for all. It also
means that a lot of people in the US government are traitors by violating the
US Constitution!
If that is
acceptable to US citizens, then we could just continue with “business as usual”.
That is what we did in the 1930’s, after US Major General Smedley Butler wrote
his book, War is a racket, and also after President Eisenhower warned us about
the military industrial complex. These were warnings that the US government
(USG) only represented 1% of its citizens.
The military
invasion of Puerto Rico to make her a US colony is another great example. The
USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits
colonialism since 1945, and has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to
immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Recently, the
US being the epicenter of the coronavirus is more convincing evidence that our
government does not represent 100% of its people.
Those of us
who want to save our country must organize to engage in permanent resistance,
like Assange and Snowden are doing, to force our government to comply with our
Constitution. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
Let’s make “We
the People” mean 100% of the people!
Is the US
the land of the free and the home of the brave?
