Double standard caused US insurrection

The United States (US) government (USG) has a 245 year history of double standard. Double standard has led the US to her civil war, and is responsible for having maintained Puerto Rico as a US colony for the past 123 years, in violation to the United Nations’ Charter of 1945.

Double standard does not create justice. You need justice for peace. And, that is why double standard is inconsistent with democracy.
