It is called colonialism

The following video is called, “Are Puerto Ricans being pushed out?” Of course we are. That is the essence of colonialism. To believe that we would not be is to not understand colonialism. Click on the following link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/YGXtWpCOiC8

Puerto Ricans have been suffering for the past 123 years, because we have not resolved our colonialism. The United States (US) government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony.

The USG is committing today a crime against humanity by continuing to maintain Puerto Rico as its colony, because that violates the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945. The USG has also ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

A woman in the video said that Puerto Ricans needed to try to compete within the status quo. That mentality has been precisely responsible for our continued suffering. Why do you think that today more Puerto Ricans live away from our national territory than in?

Puerto Ricans, instead, ought to be engaged in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. That is how we will get justice for us. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

No justice no peace!
