China’s
success in getting Huawei’s President Meng Wanzhou released from house arrest
in Canada was a huge victory for international law. The real reason for that is
that the United States (US) is upset that China is replacing her as the
technological leader of the world. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/qhBUuvnrj6w
The blatant contrast
between the US and Chinese governments are that the former is parasitic, while the
latter is symbiotic. The US government’s (USG) relationships with other nations
are colonial, while China seeks relationships where everybody benefits.
Therefore, China’s relations are more democratic, while the US’s are definitely
not. Yet, the USG has the audacity to sponsor a so-called, “Summit for
Democracy” in order to hide its imperialism!
The
international community, consequently, must inevitably force the USG to change from
its fake democracy discourse to the real discourse of international law.
Democracy could mean whatever anybody wants it to mean, but international law
is not subject to the USG’s interpretation. And that is why the USG doesn’t
want to go there.
International
law brings us closer to democracy.
