The US of Corruption

This particular corruption began at the time that the Union of Soviet Republics collapsed, and the US government felt emboldened to do whatever it wanted to do.

But prior to that, the US had already refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter and resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Moreover, the US has consistently refused to comply with the UN’ repeated requests to cease her illegal blockade against Cuba.  

The US operates outside of international law with impunity, because she is the hegemon. This is why she prefers to talk instead about a “Rules Based Order” to try to give her actions a feel of legitimacy.
