Why isn’t the US a democracy?

The evidence:

The US is the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths.

38 million US citizens today live in poverty.

The US has refused to comply with 41 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

And, despite the US’ population being only 4.2% of the world’s population, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens.

US democracy is a front for imperialism.
