PR “Constitution” would require independence

How could Puerto Rico have her own Constitution, if the US mutilated it? How could Puerto Rico have her own Constitution, if the US had to approve it?

Puerto Ricans, therefore, are not being afforded our inalienable right to self-determination and independence. Two thirds of Boricuas live today away from our national territory. Half of the Boricuas who have stayed live in poverty. We can’t expect that the US will give up her 125 year old colony out of the goodness of her heart. Therefore, the 9 million Boricuas worldwide will have to engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law.

Only resistance will bring independence!
