How the US is defeating itself

The US has never been a democracy. It has always governed for its oligarchs. That is why its citizens have been grossly neglected, and are unable to compete with socialist governments that prioritize the well being of their citizens over profits for the rich.

The video concludes by trying to encourage the US to govern for its citizens. The only way that that will happen is via a revolution. 

Today, 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too. 

And also today, the US has consistently ignored 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. In the meantime, half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too. 

While only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their government, over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with the People's Republic of China. They are, because China eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 4 times the US' population. 

A real democracy does not seek hegemony. 

A real democracy seeks justice for all!
