US kills freedom of navagation

The United States (US), unable to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, has threatened to blockade it to hurt the People's Republic of China and the rest of the world. The US used to justify its 800 military bases around the world by claiming that it was ensuring freedom of navigation. Today, however, it is threatening  to do the opposite! If the US is really the champion of democracy, why did it risk having the Islamic Republic of Iran close the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation to its illegal war against her?

If the US is really the champion of democracy, why did it try to colonize the Russian Federation via a proxy war in Ukraine that has left Ukraine in ruins?

If the US is really the champion of democracy, why did it blow up the Nord Stream pipelines to force its so-called European "allies" to be dependent on its more expensive energy?

If the US is really the champion of democracy, why has the US Empire consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate  return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

And, if the US is really the champion of democracy, why are almost 40 million Americans also living today in poverty, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans?  Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system!

US Major General Smedley Butler answered these questions in his 1935 book, WAR IS A RACKET. He explained how the US uses wars to enrich its corporations. This is why the US ignores its own Constitution, the UN Charter, and the rule of law. You must also remember what Henry Kissinger said. "It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal."
