This United States (US) propaganda film was made in
1960. You will see the first Puerto Rican governor appointed by US President
Truman and the first governor elected by the Puerto Ricans in the reviewing
stand. It is important to note that in that same year, the United Nations
approved a resolution making colonialism a crime against humanity.
To this end, the UN’s Decolonization Committee holds an
annual hearing to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization. It is usually held on the
Monday after Fathers’ Day.
The US government has refused to comply, not only with
the UN Charter that prohibits colonialism, but with 36 UN resolutions asking it
to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
The US government responded instead with this propaganda
film to try to convince the world that the United States’ military occupation
of Puerto Rico is for the benefit of the Puerto Ricans. Click on the following

This film said that the reason for Puerto Rico’s poverty
is her overpopulation. However, the film mentioned that Puerto Rico had been a Spanish
colony for over 400 years. That means 400 years of exploitation.
By 1960, the US government had further exploited
Puerto Ricans for another 62 years. But that was never mentioned in the film as
the cause for Puerto Rico’s poverty!
Today, more Puerto Ricans live off Puerto Rico than in
their national territory. Today, it has been 120 years since the US government militarily occupied Puerto Rico. Therefore, my question is, “Is the US occupation
of Puerto Rico for the benefit of Puerto Ricans?” And if it is, “Why are more Puerto
Ricans living away from their homeland?” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Join the permanent resistance to force the US
government to comply with the 1960 UN Resolution 1514 (XV) to immediately
decolonize Puerto Rico. Please help, because those who lie to hide their crimes
don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
