Trump committed seditious conspiracy

Oscar Lopez Rivera spent 36 years in prison for the same thing. But the big difference is that seditious conspiracy to overthrow the legitimate authority of the USG in Puerto Rico did not apply to Oscar.

Most people don’t know that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the USG for the past 122 years. Colonialism is prohibited by the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945, because it is a crime against humanity.

International law allows Oscar, or anybody living under colonialism, to use any means necessary to decolonize his homeland. The USG should have been the one to have spent, at the very least, prison time! What Trump did on January 6, 2021 is typical of what the USG has done since its birth 244 years ago.
