"G2" rejects democracy

The problem with that is that they both have completely different goals for humanity. The US has never wanted democracy, although it talks a lot about it.

The US' colonial settler state was created by committing genocide against the indigenous people of North America.

Today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, so that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world could be Americans. 

And, the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show. That is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

Conversely, China, whom the US claims to be a dictatorship, eradicated poverty, despite having 4 times the US' population, and 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one communist party political system, while only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system.

The US' "G2" proposal shows that it is worried about losing its hegemony, and is trying to trick China into delaying its collapse.

The so-called "champion of democracy" has always desperately fought against democracy!
