Many voters were attracted by Donald Trump pledging to run the United States (US) like a business. What voters failed to realize is that Trump had filed for bankruptcy 6 times. No wonder the US is in chaos today!
The boss has total control in business. The president, however, does not have total control in a constitutional republic. President Trump has no regard for the US Constitution, or international law. He believes that he can do whatever he wants.
The US, in reality, is an empire. Today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Where is "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" for the majority of Americans?
The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. During 128 years of US imperialism in Puerto Rico, 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why Trump hated it!
Trump is trying to stop the collapse of the US Empire to continue to make oligarchies first, but in doing so, he may trigger World War III.
WWIII is much worse than filing for bankruptcy!
