A century
after the United States (US) abolished slavery, these 6 black leaders discussed,
in 1963, the many ways in which blacks were still not afforded the civil rights
that whites enjoy. This discussion took place before the March on Washington where
Martin Luther King Jr. gave his now famous “I have a dream” speech. Click on

What these
black leaders didn’t understand 59 years ago is that US capitalism is predicated
on white supremacy and the belief that whites have an inalienable right to own
slaves.
The 1% of
the US citizens, or capitalist, that run the government will never permit that
non-whites enjoy the same rights as whites. That is why, in 2022, we are still
talking about “Black Lives Matter”! Do you know that today the world regards
the US government (USG) as the biggest threat to peace?
The only
hope for the US to ever be a nation that represents liberty and justice for all
is for the 99% of us to engage in permanent resistance to stop the 1% capitalists
from running the USG.
Then, we
must replace capitalism with a new form of socialism that democratizes the
workplace. That would ensure that we don’t slip back to capitalism, which is
barbarism, as US history has shown!
You can’t
negotiate with capitalists when they want it all!
