US democracy my eye!

Where is the evidence to support that the United States (US) is the champion of democracy, as its government claims to be? There is none!

The majority of Americans have never heard of US Major General Smedley Butler. He was the most decorated general of his time. Why wouldn't Americans know him?

Butler was the whistleblower that alerted the US government that a group of oligarchs planned to overthrow President Franklin D. Roosevelt, because they did not want to pay for his New Deal Policy of 1933. Although Butler was proven correct, the government never prosecuted any of the plotters!

Two years later, Butler wrote his book, WAR IS A RACKET, where he exposed the US' use of war to make profit for US oligarchs. You would, therefore, think that a real US democracy would include Butler's book as required reading in its educational system. But it is not!

Today, President Trump wants to go to war against Venezuela to stop her drugs from getting into the US. Nobody believes Trump. The world believes that the US is the biggest threat to peace, and that it wants to make Venezuela its next colony. Fortunately for Venezuela, the global majority will not allow Trump to colonize her.

As the US unipolar world order diminishes, and the new multipolar world order overtakes it, Puerto Rico will finally be able to free herself from 127 years of US colonialism, where 6 million Puerto Ricans abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half the people in Puerto Rico live in poverty.  

Similarly, the almost 40 million Americans who today live in poverty, and the 201 million more who live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too, will also be able to say, "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Americans are not free!
