Can US save its empire?

The kidnapping of President Maduro was a desperate attempt by the United States (US) to try to save its empire. The US has been so obsessed with stealing as much wealth as possible from the world that it didn't notice that the global majority has been quietly creating an alternate financial system independent of western control. The US' decline is also good for the majority of US citizens. Almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too.

Similarly, the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty.

How could the US claim to be the champion of democracy when only 15% of the world supports it? The US will not succeed in stopping the real democratization of the world, because the global majority wants it!
