US: leader of the colonized world

The United States (US) claims to be the leader of the free world, but its actions say the opposite. For example, ever since the Islamic Revolution of 1979 where the Imperial State of Iran, backed by the US, was overthrown and replaced with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the US has been obsessed with trying to topple it. Even US citizens aren't free. Amost 40 million Americans are living today in poverty, and 201 million more are living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system.

The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty.

Since the US was not able to colonize the Russian Federation via its proxy war in Ukraine, it wants to unapologetically colonize Greenland today. Since international law gives people the right to self-determination and independence, how could that constitute an act consistent with being a leader of the free world?

The US is an international criminal.
