The unprovoked and illegal war against Venezuela reveals the United States' (US) blatant disregard for international law. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/HCg13nW-Jok
This aggression against Venezuela is exactly what US Major General Smedly Butler explained in his 1935 book WAR IS A RACKET. He explained that the US uses war to enrich US corporations. US President Eisenhower did the same in 1961 in his farewell speech to the nation about the military industrial complex.
This is why 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans, while almost 40 million other Americans live today in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck.
And, this is why the US consistently refuses to comply with 43 UN resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too.
What can we expect from the US, a nation that committed genocide against the indigenous people of North America to establish its colonial settler state?
The 85% of nations that want real democracy must permanently resist the US Empire. If we don't, we are accomplices of the US Empire.
A rogue state hates real democracy.
