Colonialism has not been eradicated, although the empires that have colonies love to lecture others about democracy and human rights. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/GmxQCs9YFMk
Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 128 years. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty. Nevertheless, the US claims that it is the champion of democracy.
If that were so, why are almost 40 million Americans today living in poverty, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans? Why are only 35% of Americans satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system?
The US has the audacity to claim that the People's Republic of China, which is the real champion of democracy, is a dictatorship. China eradicated poverty 6 years ago, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system. China built her democracy, despite the US' relentless attempts to sabotage it.
Today, the US is trying to remain hegemony by attempting to colonize the Russian Federation, Venezuela, Iran, and Greenland. President Trump confessed that he doesn't need international law, because only his morality and his mind could stop him.
No wonder the US is the biggest threat to peace!
