US killed its own empire

The so-called "US allies" have suddenly discovered that they have always been US' vassal states. They have long resisted accepting what US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said, "It may be dangerous to be America's enemy, but to be America's friend is fatal."

US citizens have also long resisted to admit that their nation is not the champion of democracy. Today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their so-called multiparty "democratic" political system.

The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

The People's Republic of China, which is not an empire, eradicated poverty, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their communist party, which proves that a democracy needs a government that prevents oligarchs from running the nation.

A democracy doesn't need 800 military bases.
