GDP and democracy

The United States (US) ranks first in gross national product (GDP) with 32 trillion dollars. Is that due to the US being the "champion of democracy", as it claims to be?

On the contrary, that is due to the US being an oligarchy. In 1935, US Major General Smedley Butler wrote about that in his book, WAR IS A RACKET. He described how the US uses war to enrich its oligarchs. That means that US soldiers die to make the rich richer!

Did you know that today almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans? Do you remember how the US shocked the world by being the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic? Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their so-called multiparty "democratic" political system.

Did you know that the US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' (UN) resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it! 

The People's Republic of China ranks second in GDP with 21 trillion dollars. China does not fight wars to make her oligarchs richer. China enriches hersel by being the factory of the world. China advocates for peace, and for all nations to comply with the UN Charter.

That is how China eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their communist party, which proves that a democracy needs a government that prevents oligarchs from ever running the nation.

The world names the US as the biggest threat to peace. Today, it is fighting an illegal war against the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and another against the Islamic Republic of Iran. The US illegally invaded Venezuela to arrest her internationally recognized president, and wants to colonize Greenland and Cuba to try to remain hegemon. You can't be more of a rogue state than that!

Democracy means making life better for all citizens.
