The United States Senate doesn’t believe in justice for Puerto Rico

Historian Angel Collado-Schwarz talks about the President's opinion about Puerto Rico's status. - YouTube

Click on the above link to see a video about how in 1989 all the Puerto Rican political parties agreed with President Bush to resolve the island’s 114 year old colonial problem.  The United States (US) Senate killed this initiate, because it was not willing to allow Puerto Rico (PR) to become a state, should PR had voted for it.

This is precisely why decolonization is not within the jurisdiction of the country that processes the colony under international law.  Decolonization is not a civil right between a particular country and her citizens.  It is a human right that every human being is born with by virtue of being a human being.  Therefore, the US is committing a crime against humanity, like in the Nazi Nuremberg Trails after World War II, by maintaining PR under her colonial rule.

Join the protest this June 17, 2013 at the United Nations to stop this illegal aggression against PR!
