US refuses to recognize Puerto Ricans' natural citizenship

José Fufi Santori Coll, a Puerto Rican basketball legend who died in 2018, became aware in 1993 that in order to decolonize his country Puerto Ricans must first affirm their own natural citizenship.

Fufi led a 3 year campaign of issuing Puerto Rican passports by simply having Puerto Ricans renounce their United States (US) citizenship, and claiming their natural Puerto Rican citizenship via a sworn affidavit. By 1996, 1,500 Puerto Rican passports were issued. Click on this link to hear Fufi talk about his project: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUZxaT9vTB8&t=10s

Other Puerto Ricans decided to resist the United States Government’s (USG) illegal military occupation of our homeland by renouncing their US imposed citizenship by following instead United States law. Luis Rafael Marcano Leon was the 3rd of these Puerto Ricans who did that. Click on the following link to read that news article: https://apnews.com/bfd75314b4e246b5e1883bf5a167502a?fbclid=IwAR1rzNfpUBlxwD6sUWtEi5Az70X28W_Sp-XfIQv__Qm-fgGkA88Fgz6nOng

The USG has refused for 74 years to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism. The USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The USG forced its citizenship on Puerto Rican in 1917 to try to divert our natural loyalty to our own homeland toward the USG. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The UN has one more year in its 3rd international decade for the eradication of colonialism (2011 – 2020). After deciding this year to broadcast live its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing, what else could the UN do to put pressure on the USG to comply with the will of the international community?

The UN and its almost 200 member states should recognize Fufi’s symbolic Puerto Rico passport. Puerto Ricans using Fufi’s passport should be allowed entrance to those counties that recognized the USG’s abusive 120 year policy of colonialism now, colonialism tomorrow and colonialism forever!

If you think that this strategy might work, please write to support it to the President of the UN Decolonization Committee, Keisha Aniya McGuire at soomroi@un.org.

It is time for everyone of good will to act in unison, because those who abuse those who are weaker don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
But that’s just for starter!

Boricuas unidos aquí y allá / Boricuas united here and there

Here is the itinerary of the upcoming resistance activities for Puerto Rico decolonization. A divided nation wanting to be one.

Why don’t Boricuas have their own passport?

Puerto Rico has been a United States colony for the past 120 years. The United States Government (USG) forced its citizenship on Puerto Ricans in 1917 to displace our natural loyalty to our homeland to the United States of America.

The USG violates the United Nations’ (UN) Charter for the past 74 years that prohibits colonialism by refusing to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

One excellent way that Puerto Ricans could help push the USG into compliance would be by affirming our natural Puerto Rican nationality. José Fufi Santori Coll said that it is absurd for us to fight for our independence by continuing to accept the citizenship imposed by the empire. Where is the resistance? Click on the following link to hear Fufi’s thoughts on that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUZxaT9vTB8

Would you like to have a Puerto Rican passport? Please call either Milton Olivera at 787-967-3737, o José Luis Diaz at 787-216-2831 to see how we can do that. One way that we could help to get our own passport is by convincing the UN to put pressure on the USG by recognizing a Puerto Rican Passport.

The UN should never allow the USG to continue to commit a crime against, without continually increasing world condemnation to its refusal to comply with the will of the international community. That is why the UN’s decision to broadcast live on http://webtv.un.org/ this year’s hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10 AM is excellent!

The UN has one more year in its 3rd International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism. Let’s all help, because those who want colonialism now, colonialism tomorrow and colonialism forever don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
US passport is not ours.

Puerto Rico Independence Now!

Puerto Rico has the right to her independence! The United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibits colonialism since 1945.

The United States Government (USG) has violated that Charter for the past 74 years! The USG has also ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

More Puerto Ricans live today away from our national territory, because Puerto Rico is administered exclusively for the interest of the USG. Therefore, the USG will comply with international law only if we push it to!

Get involved, because those who want to keep Puerto Rico as their colony now, tomorrow and forever, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

6ta Marcha Oscar – Mandela / 6th Oscar – Mandela March

You are cordially invited to the 6th Oscar – Mandela March in New York City on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 10 AM for Puerto Rico decolonization. The march will be from Hunter College, 68 Street and Lexington Avenue, to the Ralph Bunche Park on 43rd Street and 1st Avenue across from the United Nations (UN).

The march is also to announce the UN’s annual hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization on Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10 AM. The hearing will be broadcasted live this year on UN WEB TV.

Do you know that the United States Government (USG) has violated the UN Charter for the past 74 years by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony? Do you know that the USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? Do you know that that means that the USG is committing a crime against humanity? Are you going to allow that?

March with us to help decolonize minds that the USG has indoctrinated over 120 years by to not know the truth. Harriet Tubman said that she freed a thousand slaves via the Underground Railroad, but that she could have freed a thousand more had they only known that they were slaves.

Join us, because those who have refused to comply with international law don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
We need your feet to decolonize minds.

Are civilized nations civilized?

That is an excellent question to try to answer as Professor Noam Chomsky explains why the United States government supports Israel.  Click on the following link to watch the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUQ_0MubbcM

Chomsky reveals that the most gifted minds around the world usually support the government. Gifted minds do not mean that they are independent! Therefore, gifted minds are just as easily molded or conditioned as all others.

The United Nations has one more year to end its 3rd International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism, 2011 to 2020. How do we recruit enough minds to push for that? I don’t believe Chomsky has that answer.

Harriet Tubman said that she freed a thousand slaves via the Underground Railroad, but that she could have freed a thousand more had they known they were slaves. Tubman’s declaration suggests that to free people you must free their minds first.

What an awesome task! We must decolonize people’s minds first, so that their bodies follow. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
Decolonize the mind, and the body will follow.

Dutch determined to recolonize Bonaire

To: H.E. Ambassador Mr. Klaus Welle
Secretary General of the European Parliament
60 Rue Wiertz
B-1047 Bruxelles
Belgium

Bonaire, May 23, 2019

Subject: Objection to Dutch European Parliament members’ elections 2019 – The Netherlands in violation of the EU Treaties and Charter of the United Nations

Excellency,

With this letter we Foundation We Want Bonaire Back, civil society NGO, established on the island of Bonaire, situated in southern Caribbean, herewith denounces the Netherlands serious breach of the values of the European Union and as such to suspend the Netherlands voting rights in the Council.  The Netherlands is in violation of the Treaty of the European Union (Treaty of Lisbon), The Charter of the Fundamental Rights of the European Union, The European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of the United Nations.

The people, citizens of our island of Bonaire, with a total electorate of about 14thd are invited to vote for the Dutch members of the European Parliament on May 23, 2019. This for us is another democratic trap where for a seat for the Netherlands in the EU parliament is needed over 180thd votes based on last elections of 2014 with a voter’s turnout of ca 37%.  Contrary to EU that was founded on representative democracy, that decisions must be taken as closely as possible to citizens, this election a facade, another mockery to democracy, adds on to our local government , island council representatives, which have no responsibilities or power to decide and govern the Bonerian peoples as the powers are held by the 2nd chamber , the Parliament of the Netherlands consisting of 175 members and the Dutch Senate consisting of 75 members situated in the Hague , Netherlands.

The values on which the EU is founded, Article 2 of the EU Treaty, respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities and banning eugenics are grossly violated:

On October 10, 2010 (10-10-10). with the dissolution of  the Netherlands Antilles the in-defensive smaller islands Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba were annexed , re-colonized,  embedded and integrated under unequal rights in the Dutch constitution against the wishes of the peoples and maintained up today the peoples in this imposed colonial status despite legal democratic rejection of the peoples through referenda in 2010, 2014 and 2015.

Our autonomy was reversed on 10-10-10 instead of assisting us enhancing and developing us towards more autonomy. This constitutes of grave violations of the Charter of the United Nations causing a setback in the governing of our islands which has led to a re-colonization that infringes the Charter of the UN especially Article 73 Chapter XI, Article 103 Chapter XVI, and resolutions 742, 747, 945, 1514 and 1541, all of which address the sacred rights of our peoples.

  • Abusive undemocratic actions by the Dutch government of their unilateral legislative powers and military and police powers which deposed the legitimate elected government of Sint Eustatius February 2018 and appointed a non-elected colonial ruler to govern and depriving the citizens of St Eustatius of their democratic rights by blocking the scheduled free election last March.
  • Open immigration policy: increase as high as 400% in immigration of non-Bonerians mostly European-Dutch settlers with the power to vote within 3 months in our local elections. At the moment our population doubled since these eugenics-policies were enforced and the Bonerians became a minority on our own island, and are on the path of a systematic eradication, ethnic cleansing institutionalized.
  • Camouflaged euthanasia and abortion practices in the healthcare sector exploding the crude death rate on the Bonerian population to over 60%.
  • Imposing of cultural imperialism through amoral and abusive tax-legislation's on the humble Bonerian peoples
  • Imposing of all possible policies practices that sub-duct the economic strength and aspiration and self-reliance of indigenous Bonerians. Our land and natural resources has been repossessed by the colonizing administrative power.
  • Dutch-i-fication and reversal by deprivation of education in mother native language demoting and segregating the native Bonerian children to the lower levels
Our sister islands of Curacao, Aruba and St Maarten are on the same path to be recolonized administratively by the Hague, that meanwhile remain ultimate powers over them,  and has taken over their internal matters and appointing a non-democratic supervisory financial board deciding over the islands budget, parliaments and governments. Same is the case with the judiciary system which is under control of The Hague deciding who will be politically targeted and prosecuted if not collaborating with the Dutch agenda. Contrary to developing good peaceful relationships with neighboring countries the Netherlands forced the Curacao government into provocation with neighboring Venezuela with high risk of escalation towards an armed conflict of global catastrophic consequences that will drag also the European Union member countries into it.

We are urging the European Union to action to condemn and reject continuation of Dutch colonialism in the Caribbean region as it will implicate all other EU members as accomplice towards these crimes against humanity.

Sincerely Yours,
James Finies, President Foundation We Want Bonaire Back

Colonial Bonaire now, tomorrow and forever!

To: the State-Secretary of Kingdom Relations Mr. Raymond Knops
2500 EA the Hague, the Netherlands

Bonaire, May 14, 2019

Subject: autonomy or self-governance is not a choice- it is the most fundamental inalienable right of the peoples

Honorable Mr. Knops:

We took note of your recent press media communications that you don't see the BES-islands, Bonaire, Saba and Sint Eustatius in the future as autonomous self-governing islands. Reason given that they are too small. I would like to remind you that Bonaire is a nation and according to UN General Assembly resolution 1514 (XV) of December 14, 1960; - “that inadequacy of political, economic, social or educational preparedness should never serve as pretext for delaying our fundamental inalienable right to self-governance”

You also declared that your undemocratic intervention, coup d’état, overthrowing the legitimate democratic elected government in Sint Eustatius in February 2018, had a disciplinary effect on the Bonaire government, as your recent visit to Bonaire, the government spoke much more friendly. This is evident as the leaders of government of Bonaire, both commissioners Mr Tjin-Asjoe and Mrs Den Heijer, with their subservient vision, publicly voiced, that “we cannot eat bread with autonomy”.

Firstly, we recognize and respect your right of expression so you may have a personal opinion on our current illegal state-structure. However, we herewith want to bring to your attention that neither you nor your government and your Bonaire friendly local government possess any legal rights or power to deny the peoples of Bonaire and the other BES-islands, principally Sint Eustatius right to self-determination and self-governance.

Both islands in their respective referendum of 2014 and 2015 rejected this illegally imposed colonial status and both island parliaments, as representation of their peoples, ratified these as legal democratic decisions of the peoples.

Instead of assisting our islands in enhancing their autonomy, your government, a member of the UN Security Council, has limited the development towards more autonomy, and now declares that we will never regain back our autonomy.

This constitutes a grave violation of the Charter of the Kingdom based on the agreements signed with the United Nations Organization in 1954. Your government’s continued irresponsible and undemocratic decisions and actions have caused a setback in the governing of the islands which has led to a re-colonization that violates the Charter of the United Nations, especially article 73 chapter XI and article 103 chapter XVI, and resolutions 742, 747, 945, 1514 and 1541, all which address the sacred rights of the Peoples of Bonaire and Sint Eustatius.

Our mutual colonial history, which you voiced to me personally that you don't know and don't care of, is a very dark one, with your government legalizing crimes and inhumanity, your laws to piracy, smuggling(drugs), slave-trading, making you the cruelest colonizer world history. We may have expected, with time to have grown out of this horrific barbaric culture, that you would have become civilized. But, your recent declarations exposed your truth again, that nothing changed throughout the centuries, and you have put a suit over the plunderer of the defenseless Bonaire peoples.

Our response is by quoting Ghandi: “that throughout history the way of truth has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seemed invincible. But in the end, they always fall”.

We the peoples of Bonaire maintain our hopes high that “we shall overcome” and you shall respect, protect and comply with our inherited and acquired rights. We possess the same rights as you, to be as free and to be as equal and as human as yourself and all European-Dutch citizens of the Kingdom.

We urge the international community to also take note of this illegal colonial status forced upon us, and exert the necessary pressure to make the Dutch comply with natural and international law!

Sincerely,
James Finies

¡6ta Marcha Independencia PR Ya!

¿No te parece extraño?

Do you know that colonialism is prohibited in the United Nations’ (UN) Charter?

Do you know that the United States Government (USG) is committing a crime against humanity under international law by refusing to decolonize Puerto Rico for the past 74 years?

Do you know that the USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans?

Do you know that the UN has one more year to conclude its 3rd international decade for the eradication of colonialism?

And, do you know that the UN’s Special Committee (C-24) is charged with eradicating colonialism?

The UN explains the purpose of the C-24: https://www.un.org/en/decolonization/specialcommittee.shtml

“The Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples (also known as the Special Committee on decolonization or C-24), the United Nations entity exclusively devoted to the issue of decolonization, was established in 1961 by the General Assembly with the purpose of monitoring the implementation of the Declaration (General Assembly Resolution 1514 (XV) of 14 December 1960).

The Special Committee annually reviews the list of Territories to which the Declaration is applicable and makes recommendations as to its implementation. It also hears statements from NSGTs representatives, dispatches visiting missions, and organizes seminars on the political, social and economic situation in the Territories. Further, the Special Committee annually makes recommendations concerning the dissemination of information to mobilize public opinion in support of the decolonization process, and observes the Week of Solidarity with the Peoples of Non-Self-Governing Territories.”
This year’s hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization will be on Monday, June 24, 2019. Do you know that the UN does not regularly broadcast live these hearings on radio and television? Doesn’t that seem strange to you?

The UN says that, “…the Special Committee annually makes recommendations concerning the dissemination of information to mobilize public opinion in support of the decolonization process…” If that is true, why does the UN refuse to broadcast live the Puerto Rico decolonization hearings?
We asked the UN to broadcast the 2015 hearing, and it ignored us.

The following year, we broadcasted the hearing ourselves. The UN responded by taking me off the 2016 petitioners’ list. Furthermore, the UN has prevented us from broadcasting these hearings again. Click on the following link to watch our 2016 broadcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Keisha Aniya McGuire, the Grenada ambassador, is the new C-24 chairperson. May I suggest that those interested in watching the 2019 hearing live write an email telling her so at soomroi@un.org.
