Why are 6 million Puerto Ricans, an aberration, today living away from their national territory? They have been forced to leave Puerto Rico in search of a better life. Please click on this link to know where these Boricuas are: https://youtu.be/hhVHI5sE3vQ
Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 128 years. The US has consistently ignored 44 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live today in poverty to continue with the US' plan to gentrify Boriken.
Half of the Puerto Ricans on the island want Puerto Rico to become another state of the US in order to achieve equality with the citizens in the mainland. Do you know that almost 40 million Americans there live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too? Therefore, it is a lie that the US is the champion of democracy.
Today, the US is trying to colonize the Russian Federation, Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the People's Republic of China. "AMERICA FIRST" and "MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN" proves that the US is instead the champion of imperialism.
Imperialism is not democracy.
