US national defense?

The role of the United States' (US) military is not one of national defense. On the contrary, David Vine illustrates quite convincingly that its role is obviously for national offense! Click on the following link to watch his video: https://youtu.be/b8VpxkTUYWE

US Major General Smedley Butler (US Marine Corps) warned the US citizens in the 1930’s of the same thing in his book, War is a Racket: https://ratical.org/ratville/CAH/warisaracket.html

The countries of the world know this to be a fact, as they have consistently identified, by far, the US government as the biggest threat to world peace. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html

David Vine makes a call for US citizens to become involved as to the need for their country to have 800 military bases in 80 countries around the world. Money spent unnecessarily for that takes away resources for the needy at home. That was precisely a major part of Dr. King’s opposition to the US government’s war in Vietnam.

Is democracy important? Do we really want peace on Earth? People need to think critically about the current state of affairs and take control of their governments. And if that can’t be accomplished, there is another question.

Do we really care about human rights, democracy, the rule of law, and JUSTICE FOR ALL?
Is the world bully-free?
