Is PR a democracy?

Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico protest against, not only the private electric company LUMA Energy, but also gentrification, closing down hospitals and schools, “Paz para Vieques”, “Vete Ricky”, Veterans’ Hospital, Fiscal Control Board, and the list goes on. And it must, because the fact is that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the USG for the past 124 years. Although, half of the Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico want statehood, the USG prefers to keep her as its colony now, tomorrow and forever!

The USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. Moreover, the USG has ignored repeatedly 41 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0. What could Puerto Ricans do?

The 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide should engage in the permanent resistance “Yankee Go Home” to force the USG to comply with international law.

If PR looks, walks and talks like a colony, then she is a colony.
