A democratic government is to regulate the activities of the
nation to benefit all of its citizens. How could the US be the champion of
democracy when she has 38 million citizens living today in poverty? The People’s
Republic of China, on the other hand, has eradicated poverty at home, while
having 4 times the population of the US!
Therefore, “US exceptionalism” comes down to the dangerous fact
that 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. This is why we have
unfair economic development, and our environment is in grave danger!
