La Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) celebrará su
vista anual sobre la descolonización de Puerto Rico este jueves, 20 de junio de

Es importante mencionar que Puerto Rico ha sido una
colonia estadounidense por los últimos 126 años. Hoy, dos terceras partes de
los boricuas viven fuera de nuestro territorio nacional. La mitad de los que
quedamos viven en la pobreza.
La ONU emitirá nuevamente otra resolución diciendo exactamente
lo mismo que las otras 42 resoluciones previas. La ONU demanda que Estados
Unidos (EU) devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños.
EU ignorará esa resolución también, porque EU nunca haría algo que beneficie al
100% de sus ciudadanos.
¡En vez de continuar votando en elecciones coloniales
en Puerto Rico, o seguir esperando que EU voluntariamente cumpla con 43 resoluciones,
los boricuas deberíamos protestar todos los días en la calle por nuestra
libertad!
¡Los colonizados tenemos que tomar nuestra libertad!
The United
Nations (UN) will hold its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing this
Thursday, June 20, 2024. You may watch the live UN broadcast starting at 10 AM

It is worth
mentioning that Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 126 years. Today,
two thirds of Puerto Ricans live outside of our national territory, and half of
those remaining, live in poverty.
The UN will
once again issue another resolution saying exactly the same thing as the previous
42. The UN demands that the US immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to
the Puerto Ricans. The US will ignore that one too, because the US would never
do anything that benefits 100% of its citizens.
Instead of
continuing to vote in Puerto Rico’s colonial elections, or to continue to wait
for the US to voluntarily comply with 43 UN resolutions, Puerto Ricans should
protest every day in the streets for our liberty!
Colonized
people must take our own liberty!
