US’ hypocrisy about independence

The United States (US) arms Taiwan’s separatists even though it formally recognizes that Taiwan is part of the People’s Republic of China. Seventy years ago, the US and the United Kingdom overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran, because she decided to nationalize her oil. So, the US said the hell with democracy and independence, because US oligarchs need to get richer from Iran’s oil.

The Cubans ousted the US’ puppet government in Cuba in 1959 to gain her independence. The US still maintains an over 60 year illegal economic blockade against Cuba, against the will of 97% of the international community! Where is the US’ respect for democracy and the rule of law?

If the US really cared about independence, why has it consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? It is important to mention that the US and Israel are both artificial colonial settler states established by committing genocide against the indigenous people of North America and Palestine. That is why the US has no problem unconditionally supporting the genocide in Gaza.

The US’ only interest is maintaining at any cost its empire now, tomorrow and forever!
