Slavery in NYC

Many people don’t know that New York City had the most slaves than any other city, with Charleston, South Carolina being the second. Many people also don’t know that New York City wanted to also secede from the Union, because some New Yorkers were making a lot of money from the slave trade. Racism is very deeply rooted in the DNA of the United States (US) of America. We need to learn our real history to understand George Floyd’s assassination. The US Government (USG) has a 244 year history of institutionalized racism. Could the people of good get the white supremacists out of the USG?

Puerto Ricans have also been US slaves for the past 121 years. The USG has ignored 38 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” And today, we are witnessing how the USG has criminally acted against its own citizens during the coronavirus pandemic!

Slavery exists today! The 99% of us are the only ones who could eradicate it. Are we up to the challenge? http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Slavery exists today!
