US fascism or a rule of law crisis?

I believe it is time that our conversation go much further than that! The fact of the matter is that the USG has never represented 99% of its citizens. You have 244 years of US history to prove that! Let’s take Puerto Rico as an example.

Former US president William McKinley ordered the military invasion of Puerto Rico to make her a colony in 1898. Puerto Rico at the time enjoyed self-government, after being a Spanish colony for 405 years.

Former President Harry S. Truman decided to commit a crime against humanity by refusing to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 prohibiting colonialism.

All of the US presidents, since Truman to Trump, have been accomplices to the US’ crime against humanity by ignoring 38 UN resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

The USG has never followed the rule of law. The only way to force it to, would be for the 99% of us to engage in permanent resistance.
