US 1% despises democracy

87 years before President’s Trump’s coup attempt at the United States (US) Capitol on January 6, 2021, 1% of US citizens tried to do the same thing to President Franklyn D. Roosevelt’s (FDR) “New Deal” to save the 99% from the Great Depression of the 1930’s.

Capitalism is not a friend of democracy. That is why, during the pandemic, the US government (USG) allowed so many of its citizens to die unnecessarily. That is why, during the pandemic, as the 99% of us got poorer, the 1% got insanely richer. And this is why today, the US is closer than ever to another civil war for the same reason as the first – capitalism.

36 years before the attempted coup to FDR, the USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony to benefit the 1%. The USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism because it is a crime against humanity.
