Puerto Ricans want statehood for equality

Although United States (US) citizenship was imposed upon Puerto Ricans in 1917, they don't enjoy the same "equality" as mainland US citizens. Please click on this link to learn why: https://youtu.be/GQ6_ho1ucAo

The problem is even worse than that, because the US is not the democracy that it claims to be! People would know that the US is an empire had they read US Major General Smedley Butler's 1935 book, WAR IS A RACKET, where he explained how the US uses war to benefit its corporations.

So, even if Puerto Ricans were to get the same "equality" as the mainland Americans, they would still be living in an oligarchy.

Today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their so-called multiparty "democratic" political system.

The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

The People's Republic of China, the real champion of democracy, eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their communist party, which proves that a democracy needs a government strong enough to prevent oligarchs from running the nation.

 US "equality" is still imperialism!
