The Gentrification of Central Park

The United States (US) has a 250 year history of committing crimes against humanity. In 1935, US Marine Major General Smedley Butler said, in his book, WAR IS A RACKET, that the US uses war to benefit its corporations. The previous year, oligarchs had asked him to lead a coup d'etat against President Franklin D. Roosevelt, because they were furious about having to pay for his "New Deal". The US is an oligarchy!

This is why, today, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their so-called multiparty "democratic" political system.

This is also why the US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!

The People's Republic of China, which is not an oligarchy, eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their communist party, which proves that a democracy needs a government that prevents oligarchs from running the nation.

The US is obsessed with world gentrification.
