More evidence of PR gentrification

Why does the United States Government (USG) maintain its colonial rule over Puerto Rico? What benefits does the USG get out of it? Does that colonial relationship benefit or hurt Boricuas in their national territory and in exile? Why has the USG violated for the past 74 years the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism? Why has the USG ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? Why don’t the New York City media report this being that almost 10% of the city’s population are Puerto Rican? This will be the topic of discussion in the annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing at the UN this Monday, June 24, 2019 at 10 AM. These hearings are closed to the public, but you can watch it live this year at http://webtv.un.org/.

People of good will all around the world should get involved in the decolonization of the world’s oldest colony, because, as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
It is still happening even if you close your eyes.
