Puerto Rican flag was illegal

This Sunday, New York City (NYC) will celebrate the Puerto Rican Day Parade. Please click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/QgsKDCXKYQY

Puerto Ricans, however, will not be celebrating our freedom from 125 years of United States (US) colonialism.

Puerto Rico has not yet been decolonized, because the US has chosen to repeatedly refuse to comply with 41 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Puerto Rico colonialism has caused two thirds of Puerto Ricans to live today away from our national territory. Are you aware that half of the Puerto Ricans who have refused to abandon our homeland today live in poverty?

The US in the 1950’s made the Puerto Rican flag illegal in Puerto Rico, because the last thing that she wants is decolonize Puerto Rico. Today, instead of simply complying with international law, the US encourages Puerto Ricans to use the more complicated and confusing plebiscites, as a way to keep us colonized forever.

Today, the US is committing a crime against humanity, by refusing Puerto Rico decolonization. All the celebration this Sunday can’t hide that fact!

US imperialism however is still illegal.
