The United States (US) says that it promotes democracy and freedom around the world, but that is a lie. The so-called "National Endowment for Democracy" is in reality the United States' (US) endowment for primacy. Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/y57Ol8oYJHE
That was exactly the thesis of Marine Major General Smedley Butler's 1935 book, WAR IS A RACKET, where he explained how the US uses wars, not for national defense, but to enrich its corporations. That means that US soldiers die in wars of choice, like in the Islamic Republic of Iran, to make the rich richer!
Moreover, US President Nixon turned American healthcare into another racket in 1973 to further exploit his own citizens.
US wars never benefit the majority of US citizens. Aside from the rise in the cost of living of Americans due to the US' illegal war in Iran, almost 40 million Americans live in poverty today, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also US citizens. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system.
The US Empire has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations' resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to Puerto Rico's colonial relationship with the US in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which is the real reason why President Trump hated it!
The People's Republic of China, without any endowment for democracy anywhere, has already eradicated poverty, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. China provides affordable healthcare for everyone! Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system, which means that a real democracy needs a government strong enough to prevent oligarchs from running the nation.
Democracy must be seen!
