The United States (US) wants to continue to remain hegemon,
while the People’s Republic of China seeks a non-hegemonic world order. Please

It is important to mention that the US still has 38 million
of her own citizens living in poverty today, as 8 of the 10 richest men in the
world are Americans. Only 40% of US citizens are satisfied with our government.
On the other hand, China has already eliminated poverty at
home, despite having 4 times the US’ population. And in contrast, over 90% of
Chinese are satisfied with their government!
While the US claims to support Taiwan’s inalienable right to
self-determination and independence, she has ignored repeatedly 41 United
Nations (UN) resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s
sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. That constitutes a crime against
humanity! This month, the UN will once again hold its annual Puerto Rico
decolonization hearing, and issue yet another resolution asking for the same
thing. The US, instead, encourages Boricuas to engage in confusing and antagonistic
plebiscites to supposedly find out what we want. Boricuas already know that we
want our sovereignty, so that we could decide for ourselves our own future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
The only thing that the US is trying to get by poking the
panda bear in the eye is to make her oligarchs even richer. But, what does that
have to do with democracy?
Which dream looks dreamier?
