Workers protest at Foley Square Park

Workers gathered in downtown New York City on Monday, September 18, 2017 to protest that Americans need good paying jobs. This protest is indicative that the United States (US) is not a government for the People and by the People. How is it possible that US citizens decide what kind of government they want, and at the same time it operates only for the 1% of its people? If this is the way the US government treats its own citizens, you could now imagine why more Puerto Ricans presently live off our island than on.

This protest occurred the day before the rally at the United Nation’s (UN) general assembly to force the US government to comply with 36 UN resolutions asking it to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Click on this link to watch our video: https://youtu.be/oT73E8BXhKM

All citizens must unite to get their government to represent them. Join us tomorrow at the Das Hammarskjold Park near the UN from 10 to 7 PM for Puerto Rico decolonization, because those who ignore 99% of the People, don’t believe in LIBERTY OR JUSTICE FOR ALL!
