Who benefits from US’ slow Hurricane Maria response?

This is the reason why Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 120 years. Are you aware that by doing so the US government is violating the United Nations’ Charter and 36 of its resolutions asking it to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? Isn’t it obvious why the US doesn’t want to?
