If one were to study history, one would be convinced that this young man’s views were shaped by the United States (US) government’s propaganda.

I am sure that this young man does not know that the US government has violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter since the UN was created. The US government doesn’t talk about that.

This young man doesn’t know that the US government ignores 36 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, because colonialism is a crime against humanity. The US government doesn’t talk about that either.

The majority of New Yorkers are unaware that on the Monday after Fathers’ Day, the UN holds its annual hearing to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization. They don’t, because the US government doesn’t want people to know. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

But that’s why we will have a march every year from Hunter College to the UN to bring it out of the closet. This will be our 5^th Oscar – Mandela March.
