Racism in a 1957 US suburb

This video is about the attitudes of United States (US) citizens toward a black family moving into their all-white suburban neighborhood in 1957. Click on the following link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/xXQQ9o3R-Rc

These were the attitudes of citizens 3 years after the US Supreme Court decided that racial segregation was against the US Constitution. They were the attitudes of citizens 11 years before Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. And they were the attitudes of citizens 63 years before George Floyd was murdered by the police.

The key to eradicating racism is eradicating ignorance of those willing to learn. There is still too much ignorance today. Therefore, we must continue to inform today, inform tomorrow and inform forever!

Wanting to remain ignorant is a terrible decision.
