What’s exceptional about US democracy?

The United States (US):

1. Committed genocide against the indigenous people in America

2. Practiced slavery from 1776 to 1865

3. Is today the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths

4. Has 552,830 homeless people

5. Has 37.2 million people living in poverty

6. Has 31 million people without medical insurance

7. Has started 80% of all wars after World War II

8. Is trying to provoke a nuclear war with Russia and China to benefit her 1% of citizens

9. Is the home of 8 of the 10 richest men in the world

10. Has violated, to date, 41 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans

11. Has been exposed by Julian Assange, with irrefutable evidence, of her crimes against humanity. Where is the UN’s investigations of those crimes?

12. IS universally regarded as “the biggest threat to peace”

The US had the audacity to accuse the People’s Republic of China of genocide in Xinjiang! The UN’s chief of human rights recently declared that she found no evidence of genocide in Xinjian.

The UN chief did, however, praise China for her remarkable feat of eradicating poverty. It is important to note that China has 4 times the population of the US. China, therefore, is certainly more worthy of the adjective exceptional than the US!

The US is a plutocracy. The 99% of US citizens will have to figure out how to make the US a real beacon of democracy.

US exceptionalism but in the negative side of the spectrum.
