Nobody likes to be exploited

Those same oligarchs in the video have their equivalent today in the United States US). They are the 3% of Americans who are employers. Just like in the video, the employers are exploiting 97% of their fellow Americans. The US, therefore, is not the champion of democracy like the employers proclaim. The US, on the contrary, is a plutocracy, and the champion of imperialism!

The US has almost 40 million Americans today living in poverty, and another 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too. 

Moreover, the US has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico also live in poverty. 

The People's Republic of China, whom the US calls authoritarian, eradicated poverty in 2020, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese today are satisfied with their one party communist political system, while only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system. The people know what democracy is!

A government for only 3% of the people is a plutocracy!
