No gas no US hegemony

The unipolar world order does not benefit democracy. It benefits US imperialism. In 1935, US Major General Smedley Butler wrote a book, WAR IS A RACKET, that explained how the US uses war to benefit US corporations. 

That is why almost 40 million Americans live in poverty, and 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system.

That is why the US consistently refuses to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too.

And, that is why the People's Republic of China, the nation that the US accuses of being a dictatorship, eradicated poverty 5 years ago, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one party communist political system. People know what real democracy is!

US hegemony is imperialism.
