The US is well aware of the enormous consequence that its imperialistic war will have on the world's economy now that the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China have joined forces with Iran. The threat of this economic chaos, and not the loss of human lives, is what causes the US to hesitate in attacking Iran.

The US' contempt for democracy is why it has consistently refused to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty. Moreover, the US Empire has abused its own citizens by allowing almost 40 million of them to live in poverty too, and another 201 million more to live from paycheck to paycheck, so that 9 of the 10 richest men in the world could be Americans. Therefore, Secretary of State Marco Rubio lied at the Munich Security Conference when he said that, "We can no longer place the so-called global order above the vital interest of our people."
