Rosello sells statehood on Maria’s anniversary

The United States’ (US) colonial administrator for Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosello, again makes his case for Puerto Rico statehood on Hurricane Maria's anniversary. Click on the following link to watch the video: https://youtu.be/8zbluxU1Qz4

Ricardo mentioned in this video that he is a scientist by formal training. He fails, however, to see that nations have no jurisdiction on matters of colonialism.

Anyone should be able see the conflict of interest that exists. An empire has no interest in decolonizing its colony that it has been exploiting for the past 120 year! That is why international law has jurisdiction on colonialism.

What Ricardo is not getting is that Puerto Ricans are slaves of the United States Government (USG). Therefore, Puerto Ricans have no rights that the USG has to respect. And, that is why in 2 plebiscites where statehood has won, the USG has ignored the will of the people.

What Ricardo is not getting is that the USG in 1898 classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race. To prevent Puerto Rico from ever becoming a state of the Union, it created the category of the non incorporated territory to put her in. What Ricardo is not getting is that Puerto Rico cannot become a state of the Union directly from being a US colony, even if the USG would want to. The USG would have to first return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans under international law, before they could decide to become a state of the Union.

The only reason why Ricardo does not see this, is because the USG has indoctrinated him. This is one of the many reasons why colonialism is considered a crime against humanity under international law!
