US chose to let Puerto Ricans die after Hurricane Maria!

What Farron Cousins doesn’t understand is that Puerto Rico is a United States’ (US) colony. Puerto Rico is not under the protection of the United States Government (USG). She is at its mercy! Puerto Ricans are essentially slaves of the USG. The rights of Puerto Ricans are determined by the USG.

The US Supreme Court decided, in the Insular Cases brought before it from approximately 1900 to 1920, that the USG had the right to have colonies. The US Supreme Court said that Puerto Rico belongs to but is not a part of the US.

That explains why you do not see the same level of indignation from American citizens to the government’s handling of Hurricane Maria as they showed for Hurricane Katrina. And, that also explains why Trump still maintains that he did a great job after a 4,500% increase of deaths to the initial count of 16 due to Hurricane Maria!  

What many people don’t know is that Puerto Ricans were classified in 1898 as belonging to an inferior race. That is why Puerto Rico was placed under the category of non-incorporated territories. Most people don’t know that Puerto Ricans did not want US citizenship in 1917 when the USG offered it to them. The USG forced Puerto Ricans to take it to divert their natural loyalty to their homeland to the USG.

US citizenship for Puerto Ricans was meant also to motivate them to abandon their national territory to be able to enjoy all of the rights that goes along with it. The idea is to get Puerto Ricans out of Puerto Rico, so that the USG could have her for itself!

Are you aware that the USG has violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism for the past 73 years?
