TO LARES UNITED!

Lares represents the resistance that dramatized the birth of the Puerto Rican Nation against the Spanish Empire in 1868. 29 years later, Puerto Ricans obtained their sovereignty via the Autonomic Charter of 1897. How many people know that a tree was planted in San German to commemorate that important achievement? It is called the Liberty Tree.

We commemorate this Sunday, September 23, 2018 the 150^th anniversary of The Lares Revolution. We should celebrate it by everybody going united to The Revolution Plaza in Lares, Puerto Rico!

The divisions that Puerto Ricans have are produced by the United States Government (USG). The USG has shaped Puerto Ricans’ minds during these past 120 years to make them think in the way that best benefits the United States Empire. And, that best way is that Puerto Ricans be divided.

Puerto Ricans must learn their real history to be able to remove from their minds all of the lies that the USG has planted there to get them to accept its control over them.

We should remember these things, as we study to clean our minds: 

1.Puerto Ricans had already obtained their sovereignty via the Autonomic Charter of 1897 with Spain before the US invasion in 1898.

2. The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico without any legal authorization to do so. That was a US terrorist attack against Puerto Rico!

3.The USG classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race to put them in the category of the non incorporated territories. That was the USG's way to avoid extending the US Constitution to the Puerto Ricans. 4. The USG forced the Puerto Ricans to have a US second class citizenship to try to divert their natural loyalty to their homeland to the USG.

5. The USG has violated for the past 73 years the United Nations’ Charter that prohibits colonialism. The USG signed that Charter in 1945.

6. And, the USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

All of the above makes it very clear who the enemy is. Certainly, the enemy can’t be another Puerto Rican!

The Lares Cry commemoration of September 23, 2018 should be a huge cry from all of us to force the USG to immediately return our sovereignty to us according to natural and international law.
