Anyone who believes that this is news doesn’t know Puerto Rico’s real history. People are not to blame for that, because the United States Government (USG) has purposefully hidden the real history from Puerto Ricans.

Do you know that the USG classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race in 1898? The USG put Puerto Rico in the category of the non incorporated territories to prevent her from becoming a state of the Union. Those are the territories that will never become a US state. Trump lied when he said that his reason for rejecting Puerto Rico statehood is because she has bad government. Puerto Rico doesn’t have a government that governs for the interest of Puerto Ricans.

The USG has an administration that people erroneously call the “Puerto Rico government” that governs Puerto Rico for the interest of the USG. And that is why all of the laws that affect Puerto Ricans are against them! If the USG were to be acting in good faith, it would then return to Puerto Ricans their sovereignty.
